Matthew Gizzi was born and raised in Lawrenceville, NJ. In 1998, he reached a milestone and moved to Colorado to attend college at the University of Colorado in Boulder. It was there he studied political science with the idea of eventually attending law school in the future.
After receiving his undergraduate degree at Rider University, Matthew took his talents to study law at the University of Denver. During his time in law school, Mr. Gizzi solely focused on plaintiff-oriented litigation, an area he continues to focus on throughout his professional career. In 2008, Matthew graduated from the University of Denver’s law program and passed the bar exam.
Before joining Franklin D. Azar & Associates P.C., he garnered experience in the arena of workers’ compensation claims by representing injured workers. He discovered a passion in this area of law because he felt, injured workers need to know their rights and the benefits their entitled to receive. Mr. Gizzi has successfully obtained favorable outcomes for his clients due to more than a decade of experience in the field.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys hiking and camping the different landscapes of Colorado. He remains devoted to spending time with his wife and being active with his two young children.
