Taylor Erwin

Taylor C. Erwin is a personal injury attorney with Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C., based out of the Aurora headquarters. Mr. Erwin was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. He attended Centre College in Danville, KY where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, developing a particular appreciation for the Existentialists. As an NCAA student-athlete, Mr. Erwin swam butterfly and distance freestyle for the Centre Swim Team. He also participated in the theatre department on a Theatre Scholarship, starring in such roles as King Creon in Antigone, Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Visitor in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and the titular hero of Romeo and Juliet.

Upon graduating in 2010, Mr. Erwin returned home to Tennessee and entered the work force where he met his wife, Tiffani. With her encouragement and support, Mr. Erwin fulfilled a long-held dream of attending law school and in 2016 began his legal career at the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Mr. Erwin worked as a law clerk for several firms during his legal studies and it was during this time he developed a passion for personal injury work. Upon passing the bar, Mr. Erwin decided to hang his own shingle, initially taking appointed cases while also working as an LSAT Prep instructor and Starbucks barista. Within two months of being licensed, Mr. Erwin was working as an associate attorney at a preeminent Knoxville personal injury firm.

In 2023, Mr. Erwin and his family felt the call of the West, leading him to Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C. A passionate and driven attorney, Mr. Erwin understands his clients have been through a traumatic experience and have likely never dealt with any of the complex issues that arise when injured by someone else’s negligence. He takes pride in edifying his clients on their legal situation and including them in this process while ensuring they can focus on recovery.

Mr. Erwin and his wife have one son, Onyx, as well as a beautiful dog, Pippa, and feisty cat, Guillermo. When he is not serving his clients, Mr. Erwin enjoys all manner of outdoor activities, console gaming, and supporting his beloved Liverpool FC.
