Natalie Brown and DezaRae LaCrue, two senior attorneys at Franklin D. Azar & Associates, are among the legal professionals featured in Denver’s Top Lawyers 2021, an annual directory of distinction compiled by 5280 Magazine.
The magazine compiles its list by surveying bar associations and attorneys across the seven-county metro area to determine which attorneys are held in highest esteem by their peers. Researchers then conduct follow-up interviews in order to determine the ones they consider to be “the most skilled attorneys around.”
In all, 424 attorneys practicing in 50 specific areas of law are cited on this year’s list. Significantly, less than a dozen plaintiff attorneys focusing on personal injury cases made the list—and the Azar firm is proud to claim two of them.
Accolades are nothing new to either attorney. Natalie Brown has served in several leadership positions for the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and holds invitation-only memberships in the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American College of Trial Lawyers. Colorado Law Week named her as Editor’s Choice for Best Trial Lawyer in Colorado, and she has routinely been named among Colorado Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America for the past fifteen years.
DezaRae LaCrue has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and designated a Top 10 Under 40 by the National Academy of Personal Injury Litigation. Last year she joined Brown as a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates.
