Paul Wood is part of the class action/mass torts group at Franklin D. Azar & Associates. Mr. Wood focuses his practice on helping 401(k) plan participants protect their retirement by holding plan sponsors accountable for losses caused by plan mismanagement.
Before focusing his practice on representing 401(k) plan participants, Mr. Wood was a partner in several regional and national law firms, where he represented financial services companies in high-stakes securities and other litigation. Mr. Wood’s commercial litigation background has helped him understand how financial institutions and other large companies operate. Mr. Wood has represented both the plaintiffs and defendants in bench and jury trials and arbitrations throughout the country.
Mr. Wood is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating available), and has been named a Colorado Super Lawyer numerous years, including 2017. He is licensed to practice in Colorado and admitted before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Wood received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado (Boulder) and his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
