Amber, a fourth generation Colorado native, graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. in Environmental Studies before moving to Maine for a year and half to work at Acadia National Park. After completing her second summer at Acadia, Amber moved to Boston where she attended Suffolk University Law School. At Suffolk, Amber was a member of the Transnational Law Review and she received her J.D. cum laude.
After law school, Amber practiced in California for five years focusing primarily on defending toxic exposure cases. Amber worked on numerous cases in California taking them from pleading through trial, including arguing for and against novel theories. When she moved back to Colorado, she worked for two years as a contract attorney for a federal agency helping to defend the agency against various claims.
Amber joined Franklin D. Azar & Associates in 2019 as a member of both the personal injury and the class action teams. Amber brings her experience defending personal injury and class action cases to her job at Franklin D. Azar & Associates and uses her knowledge of defense work to present the strongest possible cases for her clients. Amber is licensed to practice in California and will take the bar exam in Colorado this summer.
