Shannon is originally from Trinidad, Colorado. She attended Texas Tech University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013 with a degree in psychology. Upon graduating from Texas Tech, she worked at Las Animas County Department of Human Services for two years as a case manager. At that point, she decided to pursue a career in law.
Shannon attended Washburn University School of Law where she graduated with Dean’s Honors in 2018. While in law school, she was a member of the ABA Trial Team and became a member of the Order of Barristers honor society. She was also Vice President of the Veteran’s Legal Association of Washburn. Shannon clerked for Frank Azar & Associates during the summers while in law school and came on full-time in August 2018.
Currently, Shannon is admitted to practice in Colorado federal and state courts. She is a member of the Pueblo and Colorado Bar Associations, as well as the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. In her spare time, Shannon loves spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys working out, traveling, and watching college basketball. Her favorite teams are the Texas Tech Red Raiders and North Carolina Tarheels.

Helpful, Hard WorkingWe are extremely happy with the job our Attorney (Shannon) did for us. The was a pleasure to work with and I thank her and her office for doing such a great job.
