“You have enemies? Good. It means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.” — Winston Churchill
Royce Mueller grew up in Denver, Colorado. Before becoming an attorney, he worked in the insurance industry and realized he could benefit others by becoming an attorney. He attended the University of Oklahoma and received his J.D. degree in 1993.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Mueller joined a law firm and spent time representing employers and insurers in Colorado workers' compensation cases. In 2013, he sought a change after realizing his efforts were better spent representing people who have been injured on the job. Mr. Mueller joined Steven U. Mullens, P.C., where he represented injured people until that firm's closure in 2015. Royce then joined two other partners in forming Turner, Roepke & Mueller, LLC, and continued representing injured people until proudly joining Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C., in early 2020.
Royce enjoys helping people navigate the complex process of work injury claims. He is passionate about minimizing the disruption of his clients’ personal lives and maximizing the recovery of benefits to which they are entitled. In his spare time, Royce enjoys cycling, photography, and scuba diving. He brings unique knowledge to the table based on his prior experience working with insurance companies.
