Natalie Brown, born and raised in Butte, Montana, is a Personal Injury attorney.  Natalie graduated with honors from the University of Montana in 1982 and obtained her J.D. in 1986 from the University of Denver. In 1986 she was admitted to practice in Colorado federal and state courts.

Natalie joined the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association in 1986.  As a member of CTLA, her peers elected her to leadership positions including the Board of Directors (1999-2005),  Treasurer (2005-2006), Secretary (2006-2007;) Vice President (2007-2008); President-Elect (2008-2009) and President (2009-2010).

In 2004, The American Board of Trial Advocates elected her to membership. Membership in ABOTA is by invitation only and membership is granted to those lawyers who display skill, civility, and integrity in the practice of law.

In 2007, the American College of Trial Lawyers inducted Natalie as a Fellow of the College. . The American College of Trial Lawyers is an invitation only fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers from the United States and Canada. The College thoroughly investigates each nominee for admission and selects only those who have demonstrated the very highest standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, integrity, professionalism, and collegiality. The American College of Trial Lawyers inducts less than 1% of lawyers nation-wide.

Many organizations and publications recognize Natalie’s trial skills and her dedication to her clients.  In 2010, Law Week Colorado honored Natalie as Editor’s Choice for Best Trial Lawyer in Colorado. In 2012, Best Lawyers in America named her Plaintiff’s medical malpractice Lawyer of the Year for Colorado.  Best Lawyers in America recognizes her skills every year and has done so since 2005. Colorado Super Lawyers named her Super Lawyer from 2006 to the present.  Her Super Lawyer honors include Top 100 lawyers in Colorado and Top 50 Women Lawyers. In 2001 the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association presented her with its Case of the Year award for Preston v. Dupont, 35 P.2d 433 (Colo.2001).

Natalie volunteers as a faculty member at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and speaks at CTLA and CBA Seminars and Conventions. When away from the office, Natalie is a volunteer coach for high school mock trial teams. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
