Kyle P. Krause is a Personal Injury attorney, and aspiring trial lawyer. Kyle grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and went to High School at St. Louis University High, where he played inline hockey, worked with the Stage Crew, and competed with the school’s Mock Trial team. After that, Kyle followed in his parent’s (and grandfather’s) footsteps to the University of Dayton, in Ohio. At UD he studied Economics and Marketing, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Pre-Law. In addition to studying Mr. Krause competed with the UD Mock Trial team, and served on the Executive Board of his fraternity.
After Kyle graduated from the University of Dayton, he returned home for law school at St. Louis University School of Law. After his first year, Mr. Krause was selected to join the school’s competitive Trial Advocacy team. Kyle worked with that team as he studied, competing in Trial Advocacy competitions all over the country. Before graduating in 2020, Mr. Krause received the Milton F. Napier Award for excellence in Trial Advocacy given by The Lawyers Association of St. Louis.
Throughout law school Kyle worked for a number of Civil and Criminal law groups. He interned for a solo practitioner doing work on personal injury, family law, and estate planning matters. He then went to another Civil firm, Casey, Devoti, Brockland, P.C. which specializes in Medical Malpractice and personal injury. On the Criminal side, Kyle spent 9 months working for the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney, and another 5 months working with SLU Law’s Criminal Law Clinic.
Kyle Krause passed the Missouri Bar Exam the summer after graduating from SLU School of Law. While waiting for the results, he accepted an internship with the St. Louis division of the Missouri Bail Project. During that time, Mr. Krause was hired by Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C. After training remotely for about a month, Kyle packed up his car and came out to Colorado to join FDA.
Here at Franklin D. Azar & Associates, Kyle works on personal injury cases, fighting on behalf of our clients to maximize recovery for their injuries. Kyle came here to continue what he started in High School, learning how to be an elite level litigator and trial attorney. With the high volume of cases that FDA handles, he has plenty of opportunities to hone his trial skills, while prioritizing the needs of his clients.
Mr. Krause is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Missouri.
