“I take great pride in helping people overcome the adversity posed when they are injured and incapacitated”

Jon Topolewski has spent his entire legal career advocating for the rights of injury victims. Throughout his career, he has seen how the tortious conduct of others can wreak havoc on the lives of their victims physically, emotionally and financially. Having seen this struggle repeat itself on such a regular basis, Jon always tries to handle every case as he would hope someone would handle his own.

This empathetic philosophy has allowed Jon to successfully represent thousands of clients and recover tens of millions of dollars on their behalf in the process. Jon has obtained multiple six figure verdicts in cases where the insurance carriers have offered next to nothing prior to trial or arbitration.

Mr. Topolewski attended DePaul University for his undergraduate education and received his bachelor’s degree in 2004. He graduated in the top of his class from the nationally ranked Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2009. While in law school, Jon was twice elected as a member of the highly competitive Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Team. Jon’s ambition has always been to become a trial attorney and in furtherance of that goal he obtained a certificate in advocacy from Loyola’s advocacy program recently ranked in the top ten nationwide. He also has been awarded the Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2014-2018. Jon and his wife Kaitlyn moved to Colorado from Chicago, where he joined Frank Azar & Associates in December 2018.

In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and getting up to the mountains whenever he can to hike or snowboard. He also can be seen supporting Detroit sports teams during their season. Jon also tries to donate as much time as he can to support pro bono legal services in the Denver area. He’s a registered volunteer attorney with the Denver Bar Association Metro Volunteer Lawyer’s Program.
